Council of All Beings
- Re-connecting with the natural world -
The Council of All Beings is a series of ‘re-Earthing’ rituals created by John Seed and Joanna Macy, which enable us to experience our connection with Nature, through head, heart and hand.
Through personal sharing, meditation and ritual, we will explore our concern and love for our planet, rediscovering our "deep ecology"– our interconnected- ness with the myriad species and landscapes of the Earth. The central feature of the workshop is the Council of all Beings itself where we step aside from our human identification and let other life forms speak through us.
Facilitator:
John Seed is founder and director of the Rainforest Information Centre in Australia. He has created numerous projects protecting 3rd World rainforests in South America, Asia and the Pacific, through providing benign and sustainable development projects for their indigenous inhabitants tied to the protection of their forests.
