Deep  Time  Medicine

'Deep  Time  Medicine' describes the healing that  stems  from  a
realisation that our tiny biographical identity is embedded in  a
vast  old matrix that can be traced back beyond the first  living
cell,  thru the supernova that gave rise to our solar system  and
beyond.

Until we can claim this very universe as our own and hear  within
our  tissues  the enraptured creation story that  stretches  back
from  womb  to womb thru fur and scale and fin,  until  then,  we
remain  in  the grip of an old patriarch with a white  beard  who
created the world 6000 years ago for the benefit of man.

Indeed,  until  we are stirred by  a new and  authentic  creation
myth, regardless of what we profess to believe, our souls  remain
in  the  grip of this outmoded and pernicious story,  as  do  our
economic and political systems and the very words that pour  from
our tongue.

Deep Time Medicine is the way forward, thru our roots. The mighty
epic  of  evolution has the power to renew us, to  unite  us,  to
offer us hope, empowerment and vision.

Rainforest activist, poet and deep ecology philosopher John  Seed
will  talk  and sing and facilitate experiential  exercises  that
bring  us  back to whom we have always been  under  our  socially
constructed "self".
